Mooring
Term of the maritime vocabulary which designates operations of assistance with the mooring, the dropping of ships during their arrival, their departure or also their movement (shifting: change of berth at the quay) inside the ports. The crew of the ships being limited and busy, it was necessary to create a service ashore. Boatmen are specialized sailors.
