Certificate of origin

This certificate is issued and authenticated by the Chambers of Commerce and Industry.

They then carry out a verification of the information and impose a compliance visa.

The certificate of origin is therefore a customs document that certifies the good's origin, more precisely, its manufacturing country.

Thanks to this document, goods can be cleared through customs in the country of destination and have a preferential rate of customs duty applied.

It is mainly used for customs clearance of goods.

Some countries, such as the United States, do not require it; however the local buyer can make an express request.
